Dale Philips
Formed in 1976 by brothers Dale and Rocky Phillips, the Suthern Comfort Band quickly rose to prominence, becoming a staple of the Houston music scene throughout the late '70s. Their energetic performances lit up major venues across the city, earning them a loyal following.

In 1982, the band took a significant step forward by becoming the supporting act for Texas country artist Mundo Earwood. Over the next three decades, Dale Phillips served as Mundo’s band leader, guiding the group through countless performances and musical milestones.

Following the passing of his brother Rocky and later Mundo in 2014, Dale found himself at a crossroads. Embracing the next chapter of his musical journey, he returned to his roots—writing and performing his own songs. For over a decade now, Dale has been making his mark as a solo artist, releasing heartfelt tracks that have found a home on the Texas Country Music Charts.
